"Wednesday Custos showed no ill-effects from liis gallop yesterday, and he was given another short sprint to-day. The filling in his leg has practically disappeared, and there was no heat in it after working, so there is every possibility of the colt's fulfilling his engagements in the C.J.C. Champagne and Challenge Stakes. J. W. Jennings will ride him on Monday and L. J. Ellis on Tuesday.

Streamline (H. Turner) and Solwit (G. Murfitt) were companions in a schooling task over the brush hurdles. They jumped the two obstacles twice, Streamline giving his mate a lead on each occasion. Solwit gave an encouraging display, and, provided he can be kept sound, he is the type to go far in the jumping branch. There is no doubt about his speed, and the best was never really seen of him on the flat, owing to persistent leg trouble. El Greco broke a sesamoid bone on the track yesterday. His fate will not be decided until he has been inspected by his owner, Mr. J. M. Samson. Rose of Tralee has been recommissioned, after a beneficial spell.
