CAMPING HOLIDAYS
VARIOUS CHURCH QROUPS ATTENDANCE OF NEARLY 2000 Nearly 2000 people in the Auckland district will spend the Easter vacation in camps conducted by various religious bodies, whore programmes of a devotional, social and recreational nature will be carried out. ihe largest gathering will be the inter-denomina-tional Christian Convention to bo held at Nguruawahia, which will cater for over 700 people. The Methodist young men's Bible classes will hold a camp at tho Y.M.C.A. grounds at Hunua and a junior camp ht Campbell's Bay, each catering for about 100 members. The Rev.. E. T. Olds will be camp president at Hunua, and Mr. J. W. Court will preside at Campbell's Bay. About 200 members of the Methodist young women's classes will be divided into four camps, at Wesley College, Paerata, tho Y.W.C.A. holiday home at Blockhouse Bay, and tho St. Heliers Bay and Helensville schools. Dr. A. Hodge will be the principal speaker at a camp for M 0 members of the Baptist young men's Bible classes at Maungatawhir.i, and 150 young women of the Baptist Church will go to the Hamilton West school iirul the Hamilton Winter Show buildings. The tenth anniversary of the dedication of the Presbyterian young men's Bible class camp site ftt Hunua will he celebrated by special services. An attendance of 150 is anticipated, and the, Rev. A. M. Elliffo will be camp father. The Mairangi Bay camp of the young women of tho church will be attended by about 140, and Mrs. P. Gladstone Hughes will be camp mother. Tho Church of Christ will hold a camp at the Pukekohe School. Pastor W. Campbell will preside and about 100 campers of both sexes will attend. The Brethren Church will hold its annual convention in Scots Hall,
