SHOW RING MISHAP
WOMAN RIDER INJURED HORSE FALLS AT HURDLE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] ■WHAKATANE, Thursday While riding in one of the jumping events at the Whakatane and Rangitaiki Agricultural and Pastoral Show Association's fixture yesterday, Mrs. H. R. Williams, of Gisborne, fell and broke her left collarbone. Her mount struck the third hurdle and Mrs. Williams was flung heavily to the ground. She was removed to the Whakatane Hospital Her condition to-day is reported as satisfactory.
