A lecture on "Your Place in Life" was delivered by Madame Lauri Alwyn, of Sydney, last evening to a large audience in the Lewis Eady Hall. Madame Ahvyn wore a "beautiful frock of delphinium blue lace. She stressed the importance of good health and vitality, which, she said, were attainable by self-discipline and personal understanding. Very few people made their own place in life, but were thrust into positions by economic or family pressure.
