A PLACE IN LIFE
A lecture on "Your Place in Life" was delivered by Madame Lauri Alwyn, of Sydney, last evening to a large audience in the Lewis Eady Hall. Madame Ahvyn wore a "beautiful frock of delphinium blue lace. She stressed the importance of good health and vitality, which, she said, were attainable by self-discipline and personal understanding. Very few people made their own place in life, but were thrust into positions by economic or family pressure. They were dead to possibilities of their own future and the potentialities within themselves.
