DANCE AT OKOROIRE
Dainty pastel-shaded streamers, good rhythm and a happy atmosphere, all helped to ensure the success of a dance held in Okoroire Hall last week. It was organised by the committee in aid of the hall funds. Mr. B. Castleton, of Okoroire, was in charge of floor arrangements. Miss E. Harne, of Auckland, contributed two recitations, which were much enjoyed. Extra dances on the programme were played by Miss M. Carruth, of Okoroire. Among those present were Mrs. S. Bellamy, Mrs. E. Gubb, Mrs. J. Brown, Mrs. H. Bellamy, Mrs. Philps, Mrs. Peterson, Miss J. Carruth, Miss K. Gallery, Miss H. Hardwick, Miss D. Peterson, Miss E. Gubb. Miss M. Carruth, Miss V. Gubb, Miss F. Newton, Miss M. Barker, Miss E. Clark, Miss E. Stevens, Miss D. Stanley, Miss A. Gubb (Auckland), Miss E. Home (Auckland), Miss E. Goodwin, Miss M. Tyrrell, Miss E. Bellamy, Miss 0. Barker, Miss E. Tyrrell.
