NOTES FROM WHANGAREI
Miss Una Land, Auckland, who has been visiting friends at Maungaturoto, has returned to her home. Miss Christian Mackie has returned to Whangarei after an absence of six years, during which time she resided in Australia and paid a visit to England. Mrs. H. Walker and family, Maungakaramea, have returned 'in their caravan after a holiday spent at the Ituakaka Beach.
Mrs. W. C. Coote, Apirana Avenue, Whangarei, accompanied by her husband, is on a motoring holiday in the Auckland district.
Mrs. R. Tudchopo, Maunu Road, has returned from a holiday in the South Island.
Mrs. Chapman, of Master ton, accompanied by her husband, is motoring through the Auckland district, and is spending a portion of the time in Whangarei. Mrs. D. O'Donoghue, Mill lload, Whangarei, has returned from a holiday spent at Taurikura. Mrs. A. 11. Ryder, Mill Road, Whangarei, who has been spending a holiday at McGregor's Bay, has returned to her liomo.
Tho Misses Betty and Dorothy Wilson, of Portland, are motoring in tho South Island.
Mrs. J. llothery, of Waitomo, and Mrs. Corbott, of Now Plymouth, have been on a holiday visit to their sister, Mrs. J. Neill, Valley Road, Hikurangi.
Mrs. M. L. Staple, Apirana Avenue, Whangarei, motored through to Brown's *l3ay, where she is spendign a holiday. Mrs. P. H. Keeble, Oranga Road. Whangarei, has returned from a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs. H. N. Geisslor, Apirana Avenue. Whangarei, who has boon visiting tho Auckland and Wanganui districts, has returned.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. George and Miss Laurel George, Hall Avenue, Whangarei, have returned homo after spending 10 weeks' holiday in Sydney. Mrs. Crisp, who has been tho guest of Mrs. G. N. Morris, Aubrey Street, Whangarei, has left on her return to Sydney.
