NEW WOMEN'S CLUB

Brief addresses were given by four members of the New Women's Club at a meeting on Friday afternoon. The president, Mrs. W. B. Darlow, presided. "War from the Viewpoint of the Poets" was the subject of an address bv Miss Eileen Johnston. Mrs. G. Dyson spoke on "Equality of the Sexes," Mrs. McLaughlan on "The Psychology of Colour" and Mrs. A. E. Wood on "Nationalisation of the Land."

Mrs. Percy Humphries, who will leave shortly for a year's tour of Great Britain and Europe, was presented with a handbag and a bouquet of flowers from the members of the club. The hostesses were Mrs. 11. Page and Miss Johnston.
