MARKETING OF HONEY
AGRICULTURE COMMISSION MILK AMENDMENTS NEXT MONTH With the object of considering the desirability of some control over the grading and marketing of honey sold within the Dominion, a conference will be held between beekeepers and members of the Executive Commission of Agriculture at Auckland to-day. The matter has been raised by the National Beekeepers' Association, and representatives of the Dominion Beekeepers' Association also will be present. The deputy-chairman, Sir Francis Frazer, said the commission would be unable to hear evidence on" the clauses of the Milk Amendment Bill referred to it last session during the present visit to Auckland. Only Mr. D. Jones and himself were in Auckland at present, and it was desirable that Mr. G. A. Duncan should also sit when the matter was under consideration. The commission had to return to Wellington this week, but would probably come to Auckland again next month to hear evidence regarding the amendments.
