REPAIRS TO RANGATIRA
TENDERS TO BE CALLED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Sunday It is understood that the Union Steam Ship Company intends to call immediately for tenders for permanent repairs to the steamer Rangatira. It is anticipated that steel will bo available in New Zealand and Australia to meet requirements, but should this not prove the case a competent authority considers that supplies could come out from England ready for fitting by working from the blue prints used in the vessel's construction.
