TWO MOTOR COLLISIONS

BOTH AT SAME SPOT INTERVAL OF HALF-AN-HOUR Two collisions occurred in less than half an hour at the junction of Great South Road and Green Lane, One Tree Hill, yesterday afternoon. Nobody was injured in either of the accidents. In both instances drivers swerved to avoid collisions, only to strike parked vehicles. Tho first accident resulted when the driver of a motor-car emerging from Green Lane West, swerved to miss another car and ran into the back of a parked truck. The front of the car was slightly damaged, but both machines were later driven away. Before the crowd had dispersed, the second collision took place. One of the Felton Waikato Transport Company's trucks, driven by Mr. J. M. Franks, of One Tree Hill, was city-bound on the main road when the driver turned suddenly into Green Lane West to avoid a motor-car. The truck collided headon with a light car parked at the kerb, and damaged tho front of it extensively.
