DROP DURING WEEK FIRM AT LOWER LEVELS CHEESE SLIGHTLY HIGHER The London market for New Zealand vf butter is steady, but there has been a fall of Is over the week. New Zealand is quoted at 96s per cwt. The cheese market is steady, but reports indicate inactivity among buyers. White is quoted at 53s 3d per cwt., a rise of 3d. Coloured is unchanged at 57s 6d. A Press Association message sent from London on Thursday states that the butter market is steady. Danish is quoted at 128s to 130s ; choicest salted, New Zealand, 965; Australian, 955; unsalted, New- Zealand, 103s to 104s; Australian, 99s to 100s. The cheese market is steady. New Zealand, white, 53s to 53s 6d; coloured, 57s 6d; Australian, white, 51s to 525; coloured, 55s to 565.
