ORDEAL FOR FARMER
TWENTY-ONE HOURS* IN SEA [from our own correspondent] SYDNEY. Feb. 5 A dairy farmer, Christian Olsen, residing near Busselton, Western Australia, who had gone on a fishing excursion, was rescued from the sea recently after he had clung for 21 hours to the bottom of a capsized 18ft. yacht in Geographe Bay. lio was exhausted and his legs were numb. The boat capsized in a gust of wind about a mile from the shore. He could not attract the attention of bathers, and the boat had drifted 10 miles out when a fisherman saw his signals and rescued him next morning. Olsen stated that during the night, when ho was weakening through cold, sharks continually swam round- tho overturned boat.
