AUSTRALIAN TEAM AFRICAN TEST SIDE (Received February 14. 5.5 p.m.) JOHANNESBURG. Feb. 13 The South African team for the fourth cricket test match against Australia will be as follows: —Wade, Sjiedle, Viljoen, Nourse, Harvey, Mitchell, Nupen, Langton, Nicholson, Balaskas and Da vies. Rowan is twelfth man. Davies is from the Eastern Province and is a fast bowler, who has performed well against the Australians. Harvey is from Natal He scored a century against the visitors at Durban in the first match of the tour.
INDIANS FOR ENGLAND TROUBLE OVER SELECTION TARRANT'S TEAM DEPARTS (Received February 14, 5.35 p.m.) BOMBAY, Feb. 13 The Board of Cricket Control in indignantly refuting the statement that Moslem-Hindu hostility is preventing the selection of an Indian team for England, has sent by air mail a disclaimer to the Marylebone Club. Nevertheless personal non-ieligious antipathies and jealousies which caused friction on the occasion of the last visit of an Indian team to England may prevent some of the best players going to England.
Mr. Frank Tarrant's Australian cricketers sailed for Australia to-day.
