BIRTHDAY . CEREMONY TROOPING THE COLOUR ARRANGEMENTS FOR JUNE 23 By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received February 14, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Feb. 13 The ceremony of trooping the colour will be carried out on King Edward's birthday, June 23, on the Horse Guards Parade. The King will then, for the first time since his accession, ride at the head of his troops back to Buckingham Palace. It will be recalled that when King Edward was Prince of Wales he acted for his late father at the trooping of the colour two years ago, and rode at the head of the Guards on their march from the Horse Guards Parade to Buckingham Palace, where be took the salute at the march past. His Majesty also has arranged to present new colours to six battalions of the Guards at the Horse Guards Parade on July 16.
King Edward received the Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, last evening and gave audiences to other Ministers to-day. Mr. Ramsay Mac Donald, Viscount Hailsham and Mr. Neville Chamberlain visited Buckingham Palace.
