MONEY FOR CHARITIES MRS. M. G. ADAMSON'S WILL SUBSTANTIAL TOTAL SUM Specific charitable bequests amounting to about £4OOO, together with three others, two of them residuary, are provided under the will of the late Mrs. Marianne Grace Adamson, of Hamilton Road, Heme Bay, who died on December 23. To the St. John Ambulance Association, Auckland branch, £SOO, to be used for the district nurses' fund for tho poor of the city of Auckland. To tho Grey's Avenue Mission controlled by Sister Hannah, £2OO, for the general purposes of the mission. To the Anglican Bishop of Auckland, £SOO, to be applied for the benefit of sick and needy clergymen. To All Saints' Church, Ponsonby, £IOO, for the benefit of the poor of the parish. To the Beresford Street Congregational Church, £SO, for the general purposes of the work of its social workers.

The proceeds from a house property are directed to be held for the Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage, Meadowbank, subject to a prior life interest. The following bequests are made to English charities:—

To Dr. Barnardo's Homes, London, £2OOO sterling.

To the Pearson Fresh Air Fund for Children, London, £6OO sterling.

The residue of the estate is to be divided equally between tho Flying Angel Missions to Seamen, Auckland, and the home for the aged and needy conducted at Heme Bay by the Little Sisters of the Poor, in each case for the general purposes of the institution. These bequests are expected to be of substantial amounts.
