DOMINION TITLE CANTERBURY CLUB WINS REMAINING FINALS TO-DAY FOUR PAIRS LEFT IN [IJY TKMCGUAIMI —PRKSS ASSOCIATION'] CHRTSTC'UURCH, Fridny For only the second time in the history of the rinks bowling tournament a Christehureh team has won the Dominion championship. Ihe Canterbury Club's rink, skipped by R. Ha worth, won the title this at tornoon bo lore nearly 1000 spectators at the St. Albans green. The final was more interesting to ('hristehuroh people, because both of the teams in it were from city clubs, the defeated rink being from the Kdgoware Club. The final game provided good bowling. without being spectacular. The final of the singles, between C. E. Hanlley (West End, Auckland), and F. Livingstone (Onehunga), and the final three games in the pairs competition, will bo played at St. Albans green to-morrow, and will end the tournament. The 103(3 champion rink is:—C. Elsom, J. Turpin, C. Shaw, R. Haworth (Canterbury Club), and the runner-up, the Kdgoware rink, is as follows: —W. J. Clarke, S. Kennedy, A. W. Price., J. E. G : ttfliardi. To-day was the first time in the history of the tournament, extending over 22 years, in which two clubs from Canterbury have fought out the final of the rinks. The only two-life rink loft in—tho Duncdin Club's, with W. Anderson as skip—was twice beaten and was not in the final. Tho following remain in the pairs: —.J. B. Davis and A. S. Mclnnes (Temuka), IJ.
