VISIT TO WELLINGTON PLAY STOPPED BY RAIN [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION) WELLINGTON, Friday Unpleasant weather marred the visit of the New South Wales bowlers to Wellington, the games being abandoned when half finished. The morning was windy and misty, but at mid-day the weather cleared sufficiently for the games to be commenced at the Wellington Bowling Club's green. When 11 or 12 heads had been played there was rain and play ceased. When play was abandoned Now South Wales was leading in two games and Wellington was leading in the other. The members of the centre executive and others were guests of the Now South Wales team to-night at a dinner. The visitors will leave for Palmerston North in continuation of their tour at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
