AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW The Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's inter-club competitions will bo advanced a further stage to-morrow. The following teams will represent their respective clubs in the second grade match between Eden and Epsom and J'akapuna: Eden and Epsom.—v. Takapuna, at Stanley Street 1 and 2: W. Gooch (captainl. TOURNAMENT AT WHANGAREI [by tklegraph—own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Thursday The third annual handicap tennis tournament lor the Waikiekie Cup was played between players : epresenting the Mauncaturoto, Maungakaramea, Mangapai, Springfield, Omana, Mareretu arid Waikiekie Clubs. In the semi-finals, R. Carter defeated C. Leech, and B Leech defeated C. Bint. In the final. R. Carter, of Mangapai. defeated B. Leech, of Waikiekie, 6—l, 6—3. Th» match was one of the best finals ever played in this competition.
