Centre now lias to bear the cost of accommodating its representatives during their stay in Hamilton for the NewZealand intermediate and junior championships, which take, place on January 25, 27 and 2S. The procedure in "„he past has been that, to save other centres expense, the centre conducting the championships has arranged billeting of the visiting competitors in private homes. The management committee being of opinion that such an arrangement was prejudicial to the Auckland team, it wus resolvd to inform the i-oulh Auckland Centre that the Auckland Centre would attend to tho question of accommodation itself, and. that tho team would stu.v as one party. It was agreed that tho representatives be instructed to practise at the Mount Eden Baths next Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, their expenses being met ny tbo centre. The meeting decided that nominations, closing next Tuesday, should be called for the half-mile championship of Auckland on 'January 23. and the mile championship on January 30. Both contests will be swum in the Tepid Baths. It was also resolved that, the control of the 200 yds ladies' championship of Auckland should be open to application bv any club. The Whangars'. Club was granted permission to conduct events on January 29, arid the Dargaville Club a carnival tomorrow. Red and white were registered as the colours of the Waiuku Club.
