CAPE TO LONDON FLIGHT
ATTEMPT ON RECORD FORCED LANDING FOR FUEL (Received November 6, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Nov. 5 Flying-Officer David Llewellyn and Miss Jill Wyndham, who are endeavouring to set up a new record for the flight from the Cape to London, left Bulawayo this evening for Livingstone, after having made a forced landing this morning at Palapye Road to take in petrol. They hope to fly from Wadi Haifa to London in one hop.
