In addition to this boat, a _ 45ft. bridge-deck launch is being built in tho same yard to the order of tho Government Tourist Department, for servico at Milford Sound. With a Gardner Diesel engine situated forward, a largo cabin will be built aft. Tho launch is designed to accommodate 60 people, and is of three-skin diagonal construction, kauri being used throughout. Tho builders' contract ends with tho delivery of the launch at Auckland; but it is thought that she will bo taken down tho coafet to Milford Sound under her own power.
