DEEP-SEA FISHING
MR. ALMA BAKER RETURNS A well-known visitor to the Dominion, Mr. C. Alma Baker, of the Federated Malay States, arrived at Auckland yesterday by th 6 Wanganella from Sydney to another season deep-sea fishing at tho Bay of Islands. Mr. Baker, who has visited New Zealand regularly for tho past 12 years, is at tho Hotel Cargen. For 22 years Mr. Baker has travelled about tho world, visiting Great Britain, tho Continent, India, America, Australia and Now Zealand, successfully "dodging tho winters" and enjoying perpetual summer. Ho recently visited England and spent some time in the East on his way to tho Dominion. Mr. Baker will remain in Auckland lor a few days before leaving for Port Waikato. After spending six months in tho Dominion he will "return to tho Federated Malay States and will later visit England again.
