TAUPIRI TENNIS CLUB
A card and social evening in aid of tho Taupiri Tennis Club's funds was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Hill, Komakorau, on Saturday. Dancing and cards were enjoyed. The winners at five hundred were Mrs. B. Mills and Mr. A. J. Gibb and Mrs. S. J. Stanley and Mr. A. Reekie. Among the ladies present were Mesdames R. T. Hill, J. F. Farrell, A. J. Smith, N. Wilson, S. J. Stanley, G. H. Walter, A. J. Gibb, G. A. Avev, N. Jaekways, B. Mills, W. Waring, D. McKercher, E. Tremam, W. A. Powell and W. C. Davies (Huntly), the Misses M. Eagleson, K. McKercher, K. Powell, K. Fulton, A. Eagleson. P. GiHffin, A. Waring, M. Walter, G. Griffin, E. Partridge (Huntlv), J. Stanley, N. Huse (Hamilton), J. Walter, G. Powell, A. O'Connor, A. Hill, J. Price, D. Jackvravs and I. Lawton.
