OPEN DOOR MISSION

Another successful weekly free concert for the unemployed was held last evening .at the Open Door Mission, Albert Street. An interesting programme of songs, instrumental numbers, humour and community singing, arranged by Miss Madge Higgins, was enjoyed by a large audience. At the conclusion the thanks of the audience were conveyed by the missioner, Mr. I. A. Pollard, after which supper was served. Items were contributed b.v the following:—Misses Kdna Higgins and M. Anderson (vocal solos), Mrs. Everett and Miss M. Higgins (piano duets). Miss V. Burden (violin solos), Mr. Howdcn (elocution), Mr. Harold Derrick, inn., and Mr. Frank Cochrane (instrumental duets). Miss M. Higgins was the accompanist.
