VIENNA BOYS' CHOIR

Tho 18 boy singers of the celebrated Vienna Boys' Choir, with their director, the llev., Father Schnitt, and their conductor, Mr. Victor Gomboz, are due to arrive from Australia on November 0. They will bo accorded a civic reception at tho Town Hall by the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, and in the evening they will giro their first New Zealand recital ab His Majesty's Theatre. Tho choir has aroused tho greatest enthusiasm in its recent tour of Australian cities. Not since tho visit of the Sistine Choir in 1922 have Australian audiences heard anything at all liko tho Viennese Boys' eight-part motets and other polyphonic numbers by the great composers of the sixteenth century.
