THIRD ANNUAL DANCE APPROPRIATE DECORATIONS A delightful and well-attended function was the third annual dance given in the Lewis Eady Hall last night by the president and members of the Auckland' Ulster Association. Appropriate and colourful decorations had been carried out by members of the committee. The ballroom was hung with Empire flags, intermingled with replicas of the Red Hand, the emblem of Ulster, and the names of the Ulster counties famous throughout history. In tho supper-room the tables were effectively arranged with bowls of richly-coloured flowers and foliage. During an interval in the dancing an Irish jig and a Scottish reel were performed by a group of girls. The guests were received by the president, Mr. T. J. Fleming. In the unavoidable absence of Mrs. Fleming he was assisted by Miss F. Maevcan, who was wearing a froek of black georgette with a short fur cape. Prior to the dance, Miss Maevcan was presented with a bouquet by Miss M. Gray on behalf of the committee.
