OKOROIRE FUNCTION
The official opening of the Okoroire Springs Tennis Club's season was performed by the president, Mr. F. J. R. Goodwin. A Yankee tournament was won by Mrs. Wardman and Mr. Makin, of Piaroro. Among the ladies present were: — Mrs. A. Carlson, Mrs. E. Gubb, Mrs. G. Carlson, Mrs. Wardman, Mrs. T. Makin (Piarere), Mrs. J. McLaren, Mrs. J. Brown. Mrs. N. Higginson, Mrs. Harrison (Tirau), Mrs. Wildman (Piarere), Mrs. E. Brown, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. N. Boucher, Mrs. R. Carruth, Mrs. G. Brown, Miss K. Gallery. Miss V. Gubb, Miss H. Hardwick, Miss J. Carruth, Miss J. McLaren, Miss B. Higginson, Miss I. Scott, Miss M. rutli, Miss A. Stevens, Miss M. Pcnitito, Miss E. Tyrrell (Piarere), Miss L. Johnstone (Auckland), Miss L. Brown, Miss R. Harrison (Tirau), Miss M. Tvrrell .(Piarere), Miss Kmlock (Tirau), and Miss E. Goodwin.
