MRS. WILLS-MOODY
WORLD'S LEADING LADY POSSIBLE AUSTRALIAN VISIT It was stated at the monthly meeting of the New South Wales Lawn Tennis Association that a visit to Australia from the world's lady tennis champion, Mrs. Helen Wills-Moody, was probable. A cable :Frora Henri Cochet, the French professional, stating his terms for a visit to Australia, was discussed, and it was decided to refer the matter to the executives of the New South Wales Lawn Tennis Association and the New South Wales Hardcourt Tennis Association, and a representative of some French wool buyers in Sydney who are interested in Cochet making the trip. The terms upon which Mrs. WillsMoody would come were not disclosed. The secretary, Mr. M. H. Marsh, said he had received a private communication which stated that Mrs. WillsMoody would make the trip provided satisfactory financial arrangements could be made. Mr. Marsh said ho thought Mrs. Wills-Moody's wishes might be complied with, and it was decided to notify the Lawn Tennis Association of Australia of the fact.
