O'Shea, registrar of Auckland University College, left for Well., ington last evening. Mr. E. J. Parr, chief inspector of secondary schools, and Mr. J. E. Learn* ing, an inspector, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. W. <T. Broadfoot and Mr. A. J. Murdoch, M.P.'s, were among the pagl sengers for Wellington by the limited express last evening. , Wing-Commander T. M. Wilkes, Director of Air Services and Controller of Civil Aviation,, arrived from the south yesterday morning. Mr. E. L. Rutledge, general manager of the Fox Film Corporation in New Zealand, arrived in Auckland yesterday morning. He is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. D. W. Dunlop. secretary of the Auckland Education Board, and Mr. A. B. Miller, the board's architect, left for Wellington yesterday afternoon. « Mr. H. H. Inncs left ln«t evening for Wellington to join the Wanganella, which will leave to-morrow for Sydney. Mr. Innes will visit England on business and will be absent from the Dominion for about nine months.
