RIFLE SHOOTING
AUCKLAND CITY CLUB A pairs match at 800 and 900 yards was fired by tbe Auckland City Defence Rifle Club last Saturday afternoon. A and B grade members were drawn together and the combined scored of each pair plus handicaps counted for the spoons, one of which was awarded to each, grade. Conditions proved difficult and generally the scores were low. although there were a few excellent aggregates. A. C. Watson and F.
