MILK BELOW STANDARD
PROSECUTION OF VENDOR _j A milk vendor, Arthur Pilkington, of Melntvre Koad, Mangere, was fined a total of £5 and costs by Mr. W R. McKean, S.M., in the Onehunga Police Court yesterday for selling milk containing added water and which was deficient in milk solids, thereby failing to comply with the regulation standard. Accused, who pleaded guilty, denied having tampered with the milk.
