AMATEUR PRELIMINARIES Tho following amateur bouts have been arranged lo precede the professional boxing contest arranged by the Aucklnnd Boxing Association between Mark Candy, of Wanganui, and Watty Robertson, of Gisborne, to take place on Monday week:— Fly-weight: J. Hetherington v. G. Gordon. Welterweight: Dawson v. G. Cook, Welter-weight: E. Eslnll v. D. Johnson. Light-heavy-weight: M. McHugh v. A. Ellis. Emergency, middle-weight: L. Dombroski v. R. Cormack.
