NET PROFIT HALVED COMPARISON OF RESULTS The Dunlop-Perdriau Rubber Company, Limited, Melbourne, reports a net profit of £143,016 for the year ended Juno 30, compared with £287,929 in the previous year. With £53,994 brought into tho accounts, there .is available £197,010. W. Vercoe and Company, Limited. There was an entry of 180 animals of all classes, tho majority being broken draughts. There was a large attendance and bidding became more brisk as the sale advanced and a» & better class of farm horse came forward. The best price of £49 wos paid by Mr. C. G. Parry, of Hukuhia, for a bny gelding sold by Mr. J. Geo, of Auckland. A grey mare offered by Mr. G. McNiclde, of Frankton,' was sold, to Mr. R, -T, Harding, of Te IJku. for £4B 108,
