Delegates from the Nelson, Buller, Keefton, Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago and Southland Progress Leagues attended a conference to-day, the first to be held, for five years. Many remits were brought forward, the principal one being that dealing with the endeavours that are being made to secure visits to the South Island of overseas steamers when on holiday cruises to the Dominion.
