Mr. E. Anderson loft for the South by train yesterday afternoon.

The Rev. It. S. Keenan, of Ingle, wood, has accepted a call from the Presbyterian congregation at Featherston and will take up his new charge about the middle of October.

Mr. W. E. Anderson, secretary of the Auckland Provincial Employers' Association, left for Wellington by the limited express last evening to attend a meeting of the New Zealand Emplovers' Federation. He will return to Auckland on Monday.

Captain R, G. Briscoe, Conservative member of Parliament for Camhridg©. shire and a director of Briscoe and Company, Limited, who is on a business visit to New Zealand, returned to Auckland yesterday. He will leave for Sydney by the Niagara on Tuesday.

Mr. C. C. Robertson, who has been chief grader at the Moturoa grading stores, New Plymouth, for the "past IS years, will leave to-day by the Hangi. tane for England to take up a position with the Dairy Division as inspector of dairy produce in England. Mr. Robertson will be away for a year.

The Rev. H. Leonard Hurst, of Sydney, the newly-appointed secretary of the London Missionary Society, arrived in New Zealand. It is bis intontion to visit as many of the churches in the Dominion as possible in the interest* of the society before his departure early in November.

Canon F. G. Hnrvie, of St. Barnabas' Church, Mount Eden, who underwent a serious operation recently, trill leave hv the Rangitane to-day for England. He will be accompanied hv Mrs. Harris and Min° M.
