DANCE AT WHAKATANE
A successful "back to childhood" ball was held in the King Street Hall, Whakatane, this week. There was a large attendance of visitors from all parts of the district. The hall was decorated with coloured streamers and lights. An exhibition of Spanish dancing was given by Mr. R. Reynolds and Mrs. E. W. Tennant, and a fox-trot competition was won by Miss N. Jarrett and Mr. f/. Wright.
