EPSOM INFIRMARY
INMATES ENTERTAINED A highly appreciated entertainment, organised by Maisie Carte-Lloyd, under the auspices of the Onehunga branch of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary, was presented recently for the amusement of the inmates of the Epsom Infirmary. A playlet entitled " The Mirror," in which Mrs. E. Schmitt, Miss Edna Craig and Miss Marjorie Yeatman took part, was charmingly presented. Maisie Carte-Lloyd was heard with advantage in a number of elocutionary items and character recitations, and her dialogues with Miss Tess CarteLloyd met with hearty appreciation. Vocal solos by Mrs. W. Osborne and Mrs. G. de Bergh were greatly enjoyed, and a dance duo by Miss Claudia Over and Miss Phyllis Basham was very cleverly executed. Maisie Carte-Lloyd acted as stage manager, and Mrs. Hurle, Mrs. G. de Bergh, Miss Edna Craig and Mr. Claude Over as accompanists. The party was accorded a lieartv vote bv the inmates.
