AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION It was decided at tho annual meeting of the Auckland Croquet Association to play inter-club matches from October 29 to December 17, resuming on February 4 A sound financial position was reported. Mrs. W. C. Thomson was congratulated on winning the champion of champions contest, and Miss Skeet on winning the Dominion ladies' championship A vote of thanks was passed to tho president, Mrs. J. C. OPOTIKI CITIZENS' CLUB [~BY TELKOBAI'IJ —-OWN CORRESPONDENT] OPOTIKI, Wednesday The anntial meeting of the Opotiki Citizens' Croquet Club elected the following officers:—President, Mrs. J. E. Burton: secretary, Mrs. C. D. Brown; treasurer, Mrs. A. E. Payne. Mrs. I abb and Mrs. Stevenson wero added to the committee. A pi'escntation was made to Mrs. I. Or. Johnson for her valuable services during the past, ten years as secretary. It is suggested that the season open a month earlier this year, in September instead of October.
