FANCY-DRESS DANCE
MORRINSVILLE ANGLICANS Organised by ladies of the Mangateparu district, the fancy and plain dress dance held in the Mangateparu Hall in aid of the funds of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Morrinsville, was an outstanding success. The hall was decorated with streamers of blue and gold and multi-coloured balloons. Floor arrangements were in the hands of Mr T. R. Bennett, and suppef was served by the ladies. During the evening opportunity was taken by Archdeacon H. R. B. GiUesp.e to express the thanks of the parish to the Mangateparu residents, and to congratulate them on the success which had attended their efforts. . , Many of those present were m fancy dress, and prizes were awarded to the following:—Miss Bennett (best lady s costume), Mr. D. Gordon (best gentleman's costume), Mrs. Bosworth and the Misses P. Marshall and I. Donnellj (Most original costumes).
