AUCKLAND TEAM SELECTED The team to represent Auckland in the New Zealand women's hockey tournament will leave Auckland for Gisborne next Wednesday Mr 6. R. The Hatiraki Plains Lndies' Hockey Association will hold a field day at Nentea on September 14 to conclude the season, the executive committee last nighl deciding on n seven-a-eide tournament for Plains tenmß Field events for women ivill also be held, and probably a burlesque hockey mutch played between women and men. The arrangements were left in Ihe hands of the Neatea delegates. It was decided to invite the Pfteroa Ladies Association to send a team to play the Plains representatives at Ngatea on a suitable date. The Knihere Club forwarded £5 as profit on the dance held in aid ot the association's funds last Monday. It was decided to congratulate the club on its successful venture. The selector, Mr. T. A.
