SENIOR GRADE CONTESTS PONSONBY AND NORTH SHORE The series of matches to be played tomorrow in the second round of the Auckland Football Association's senior championship should produce fast and interesting contests. Two matches will be decided at Blandford Park, the principal of which will bo between Ponthe championship leaders, and North Shore. This game should provide a very even struggle. Ponsonby is a difficult team to deleat, but North Shore, after its good showing against Thistle last week, should bo capable of extending tho leaders. The curtain-raiser match nt Blnndford Park will be between Thistle and MetroCollege. Both teams play attractive types of football, and a bright encounter should result. Eastern Suburbs will play Y.M.C.A. at St. Hcliers, while Comrades nnd Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys will contest the points nt Mount Albert. Lower grnde competitions will be continued. Following are the teams:— NORTH SHORE Senior Grade.—Cowie, G-errard, C. Ekman, Blackie-, Archer, Walters, Scott, Stevenson, McCluskey, E. Ekman, Kitchens. Second Grade.—Murray, Bach, Saunders. Moorcroft, Chubb, V. Smith, Hankins, Moore, McGregor, Bentley, .Wylie, Beasley. Y.M.C.A. Senior Grade.—Smith, Mowat, Dobson, Ross, Chnpmnn, Sims, Deoki, McFarlane, Humphreys, Churchill. Donaldson. Second Grade.—Swift, Clanaghnn, Roper, Garner. Morris, Collinson, Bridges, Page, Fenncll, Brown, Hill. ONEHUNGA Second Grade A. —Birchall, Webster, Brown, Wilson. Sager. Everson, Coulthurst, Blockley, Lindsay. Forrester. Tornquist. Second Grade B.—McDermott, Rnndnll, Roy, Hewitt, Hopkins, Lindsay,' Blarney, Douglas, Ashton, Chatham, Darragh, Heat ley, Chorley.
