REPRESENTATIVE GAMES STRONG VISITING TEAMS EVEN CONTESTS ANTICIPATED An attractive programme has been arranged by. the Auckland Rugby League for to-morrow, when two representative matches will be played at Carlaw Park. Auckland teams will meet representative sides from Taranaki and South Auckland, and it is anticipated that tho contests will provido fast and spectacular football. With a view to building up a powerful combination to meet tho Australians next month, the Auckland selectors have chosen a strong team to meet Taranaki in the principal match. Tho code is said to have made good progress in Taranaki, and the visiting team includes a number of prominent players. As in previous matches, tho Taranaki forwards should be capable of an impressive display. Tho visitors' backs, however, will be opposed by a very speedy Auckland set which can be depended upon to play fast and open football. Tho curtain-raised match between South Auckland and Auckland is likely to bo evenly contested. South Auckland has extended the beat local thiiteens in the past, and the visitors are credited with having a strong combination on this occasion.
