OTOROHANGA TRANSPORT
LOCAL SERVICE SUPPORTED [bt tei.egraph—own correspondent] OTOROHAXGA, Friday A largely-attended meeting of Otorohanga traders, called by the Chamber of Commerce, was held on Wednesday night to consider the position which has arisen under the Transport Licensing Act. 1931, with regard to goods services between Otorohnnga and Auckland. Mr. S. Mcßobie, president of the Chamber of Commerce, presided. Mr. J. F. Trapski gave an address on the operations of the Act. ' A resolution supporting the local service as being in the best interests of the tradespeople was carried without dissent, and a further resolution pledging the support of local tradespeople to obtain the granting of a daily licence was carried unanimously.
