ACCUMULATED DEFICIT ARMS EXPENDITURE SECRET (Received June 21, 5.15 p.m.) LONDON, June 20 The Berlin correspondent of the News Chronicle says the German Government's financial year ended on March 31 with a deficit of £28,000,000. The accumulated deficit since 1930 is £197,000,000. " Germany's expenditure on armaments is still kept secret," adds the correspondent.
