BLOMFI ELD AND WILLIAMS An evening of -fast and lively wrestling is anticipated at His Majesty's Theatre next Tuesday evening, when Cy Williams, the American wrestler, will be matched with L. Blomfield, the New Zealander, in a bout arranged by the Auckland Wrestling Association. Blomfield secured a victory over Xarberes at Hamilton on Thursday and should be in good form for Tuesday's contest. Williams has been wrestling well in southern centres ar.d is said to have shown much improvement. It should be interesting to see what effect the latter's vigorous tactics have on a man of Blomfield's physique. A good display of wrestling seems assured. BRITISH EMPIRE TITLE Sam Burmistcr, the Australian wrestler, states that be has challenged George Walker for the .British Empire title and he will claim the title if Walker fails to accept the challenge. He wrestled Walker last January and was beaten, but he is anxious to meet him again. Burmister is willing to mret , miy other contestants for the title should Walker decline to wrestle him.
