PLAY AT CLEYEDON THE PRESIDENT'S HANDICAP DRAW FOR FIRST ROUND The first round of the president's handicap eclectic competition will be played to-day by members of the Clevedon Golf Club. The draw is as follows: Currie v. A. Brown, Whytock v. Bryan, Blundell v. Munro, Wells v. Bannerman, Baird v. Southerill, Henderson v. Waters, O'Sullivan v. Gallagher, Colquhoun v. Orum, Wilson v. MATCH AT GLENDOWIE A match played yesterday at G-lefidowie between teams representing the Glendowie and Papakura Ladies' Golf Clubs resulted in a win for the former by seven mutches to three. Following are the results, Papakura, names being mentioned first:—Mrs. Brooks lost to Mrs. Endean, 5 and 4; Miss Finlayson beat Mrs. Green, 4 and 3; Miss Walters lost to .Mrs. McGinlcy, 2 and 1; Mrs. Foo'.e lost to Mrs. Howey Wal-cer, 5 and 4; Mrs. McLennan lost to Mrs. Hill, 4 and 3; Mrs. Kidd lost to Mrs. Montgomery. 5 and 4: Miss Coxhcad beat Mrs. Hutchinson, 2 and 1; Miss Dreadon lost to Mrs. Taylor. 6 and 5; Miss McCullough beat Mrs. Hayes, 2 and 1; Miss Jean McCullough lost to Mrs. S. The open day. which was to have been held next Monday, has been postponed until a later date. The first round of the North Shore Vase will be played next Tuesday, the original- draw to stand. A draw will take place at the clubhousft for C grade players. INTER-CLUB LADIES' MATCH [from our own correspondent] TE AWAMUTU, Friday An inter-club match vras played on the Te Awamutu Club's links on Thursday between teams representative of the Te Awamutu and Cambridge Ladies' Clubs, the home team winning six of the ten games.
