SIXTY-EIGHTH BIRTHDAY QUIET CELEBRATION ; (Received May 26, 7.5 p.m.) LONDON. May 26 Queen Mary was 68 years old to-day. She spent her birthday quietly. There was a small Royal luncheon party in Buckingham Palace.

The Royal Salute of 21 guns was not fired owing to the day being a Sunday, but this ceremony will take place at noon to-day.
