PRINCIPAL'S RESIGNATION! WITHDRAWAL NOT POSSIBLE MR. ARCHDALL'S HEALTH It was.announced yesterday that following the resignation of the headmaster of King's College, the Rev. H., K. Arehdall, the St. John's College Trust Board, the 'governing: body of th«i college, voted him £IOOO as token of esteem. The board recently informed the parents' committee that it was open to the headmaster to reconsider his resignation. The parents' committee asked him to do so. Mr. Arehdall was prepared to accede on certain conditions, but his medical adviser now states that; it is impossible for him to continue as headmaster of King's College without grave danger to his health. Mr. Arehdall has accordingly notified the board that he regrets that it in impossible for him to reconsider hiii resignation.
