ALLEGATION OF "RED TAPE" COUNTY COUNCIL CRITICISM [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday A claim for a refund of money paid to an unemployed man led to the Unemployment Board being criticised at a meeting of the Raglan County Council yesterday. The chairman, Mr. H. W. Wilson, said the unemployed had given the council a great amount of trouble, and were costing the council a good deal of money. He added that it might pay tho council to employ its own men, as "red tape" was creeping in more and more. The council refused the board's request for a, refund.
