MANUKAU AMATEUR CLUB FASTEST TIME TO BROWN The Manukau Amateur Cycling Club held two races on Saturday on the Avondale South circuit under ideal weather conditions. Results were as follows: Junior Event, 10 miles. —H. W. Hoffmann (6m), 33m 395, 1; M. T. Winsor (3m), 30m 445, 2;D. R. Fraser (lm 30s), 29m 575. 3. C. Dwight, scr, returned fastest time, 29m 21s. Senior Race, 17J miles.—J. W. Clark (lm 15s), 47m 50s. 1; W. E. Dilworth (sm), 51m 455. 2: Allan Robinson (lm 455), 48m 31s, 3. J. Brown, scr, finished thirteenth to make the fastest time in 47m 7s. AUCKLAND CLUB The Auckland Cycle Club's road events at Panmure on Saturday were decided under perfect racing conditions. Three races were held, for juniojs, _ seniors and ladies, and good fields participated. Results were:— Junior Race, 6} miles.—M. Cardwell (3m 455), 20m 555. J: J. Stuart (2m 30s), 2; B. Bignall, 45m 51s, TAKAPUNA AMATEUR CLUB The Takapuna Amateur Cycling Club held a 22| miles road race on Saturday on the Lake course in perfect weather. The result was:—A. Parker (lm 30s), 60m 7s. 1: R. Eagles (2m). 60m 395, 2: T. Bassett (2m 455), 61m 35b. 3; A. Gunn (2m 30s), 61m 31s, 4. Fastest time was made by Parker, who won in a good finish. PAPATOETOE AMATEUR CLUB A junior race of 6} miles and a senior event of 21 miles were decided by the Papatoetoe Amateur Cycling Club on Saturday.
